
Believe it or not hot yoga is a type of exercise people are practicing on such a high scale that it is becoming a craze. Hot yoga is a combination of different poses carried out in a special heated room of which the temperature is normally between 95-100 degrees.
The usual lightweight clothing, anti-sweat athletic wear that dries quickly will do just great. For men its light tees with shorts and women can wear a tank top or sports bra with shorts or lightweight pilates memphis yoga-style pants.
If you're like me and plan on saving your stretching to after your weight routine, you won't stretch very much. But, when I incorporate stretching into my weight routine, I get 10 to 15 excellent stretches that covers my entire body and all the main yoga moves.
The positions in hot mind body haus are challenging. When I first began I could barely get through a whole class. Now I have little problem at all. The heat helped me to warm up better and work through the tense areas in my muscles. This increased flexibility means that I move more fully, and moving helps to burn calories.
I was one of the naysayers when it came to yoga. Last year my buddy and I made a bet. If I lost I had to go to hot yoga class with him. If I won he had to go jogging with me. Easy to clean. It is important that you find a mat that is machine washable, so you avoid the occurrence of unpleasant odors during your yoga practice. The durability of your mat is important, as some of the cheaper mats on the market are not meant to be washed frequently.
